Statement:

Whenever I’m in an elaborately arranged room with white tiles I always look for a crack in it. The collide between the crack and the intact tiles create a scene, this shakes the space of everyday life.

I find insignificant objects and bring them to my studio as aliens. They meet outside of their function and have a conversation. This is a poignant collage, a story where the narratives are segmented and time is ambiguous. Transformation from a solid mass into fragment, what remains becomes a ruin.
